If you are curious about trying many different cacao recipes and learning the sacred process of the chocolate making, this experience is for you!

 

Starting from Oaxaca centro with a chocolate tasting and chocolate making experience, you will learn the secret about the revered brevage from the raw seed to your cup. Cinnamon, cardamom, chili, traditional, and dark - try them all, choose your favorite.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We will then drive up into the mountains of the Sierra Norte to explore the factory of the indispensable "Molinillo" - a wooden whisk handmade by family of the Sierra Norte - and hike to the mountaintop for some stunning views.

 

The hike is moderate, about 2 hours total through the pine trees leading us to the peak at 3200m (10500 feet). We will enjoy flora and fauna of the cloud forest habitat and take our time drinking our homemade hot chocolate in front of this beautiful panorama of pine trees and mountains over the Sierra norte.​
